Please note that permit spaces sell quickly, especially in sought-after areas in the core Campus area, so you may have to search a bit outside of your preferred location

If you are finding it difficult to attach the required information to purchase your permit, please send the documents via email to publicworks@champaignil.gov, making sure to include your full name within the email.

After purchasing an Academic/Summer parking permit from the City of Champaign, you must email (to publicworks@champaignil.gov) or attach the following information.  After the information is provided, we will send you an email to let you know when the permit is ready to be picked up. Failure to provide the necessary documentation will result in your permit being returned for a prorated refund minus a 10% administrative fee.  You may not park in the space until after you have picked up your permit.

• Driver's license
• Vehicle Registration (Both the left and right side of the registration card.  You must have a current vehicle registration)
• Campus Address, including apartment or room number
• Copy of your lease showing the term and apartment letter or number (If purchasing on-street parking in Area 1 or Area 2 before Labor Day.)
